Hello, I’m Alyssa Protsch-Husman
I am dedicated to meeting people where they are and using an integrative approach personalized for each individual. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space where they can heal and build skills to overcome life's challenges. I have experience providing mental health care in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. I have assisted individuals and families in a range of life stages or transitions facing challenges including: trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, divorce/separation, self-esteem, attachment, abuse, infertility, foster care/adoption, ADHD, relationship conflicts, stress, depression, self-esteem/confidence, PTSD, behavioral concerns, and parenting. My goal is to nurture a psychologically safe environment for clients to feel seen, heard, valued, and understood. Furthermore, I strive to help clients understand relationship dynamics, promote positive change, learn effective coping strategies, and overcome relationship barriers. In addition, I have completed extensive training in civil and family mediation, which adds another layer of conflict resolution skills that are useful when clients desire an objective and confidential setting to collaborate and resolve problems.
